Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about what Premium Auto Bid is today, how bidding works, what deposits and fees mean, and how we handle your identity and your money. If something is not covered here, our team will answer it directly.

Premium Auto Bid is a vehicle sourcing, bidding and import-support service operated by Premium Logistics SHPK, an Albanian limited liability company (NUIS M53004202C) registered with the National Business Center (QKB) and based in Kamëz, Tirana. We help customers in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro access salvage and used vehicles sold through Copart auctions and bring them home.

Important: Premium Auto Bid places customer bids on Copart in real time through the Copart API, once you have completed identity verification, accepted the Member Terms and have an approved deposit. We are not an official Copart partner and are not owned by, operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with Copart, Inc. The specific sample cars shown on the site are clearly labelled demonstration samples — they are not real Copart lots and are not biddable.

How to use this page

The questions below are grouped from the most common first inquiries through to deposits, payments, bidding, fees and logistics. Each answer is written to be accurate rather than promotional — we would rather you understand exactly what you are agreeing to before you commit any money.

  • New here? Start with the questions about demonstration samples and Copart affiliation.
  • Ready to act? Read the deposit, identity verification and bidding questions carefully.
  • Still unsure? Contact us — the answers here are general and your situation may need specific guidance.

What Premium Auto Bid is — and is not

A short summary before the detailed questions, so there is no confusion about our current status.

An independent broker

We are an independent vehicle sourcing, bidding and import-support service operated by Premium Logistics SHPK. Your contractual relationship is with us, not with any auction house.

Not a Copart partner

We are not owned by, operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with Copart, Inc., and we make no official-partner claims. We place customer bids on Copart through the Copart API, but we are independent of Copart.

Demonstration samples

The specific sample cars you see on the site are clearly labelled demonstration samples. They are illustrative, they are not real Copart lots, and they cannot be bid on.

Real-time bids via the Copart API

Once your identity, deposit and acceptance of our Member Terms are in place, your bids are placed on Copart in real time through the Copart API. No outcome is guaranteed.

What happens before a bid is placed

Before any bid reaches Copart, a few prerequisites have to be satisfied. These are the checks that must be completed before bidding.

  1. 1

    You set your maximum bid

You tell us the vehicle and the maximum amount you authorize. Your bid is then submitted to the relevant Copart auction in real time through the Copart API.

  2. 2

    We verify identity (KYC)

We confirm your identity documents before any bidding. Identity verification is required before bids can be placed on your behalf.

  3. 3

    We confirm your deposit

An operator checks that your refundable security deposit has actually cleared into our account — by bank statement or cash receipt — never automatically.

  4. 4

    We confirm your Member Terms

We confirm you have accepted the current Member Terms; once your verification, deposit and Member Terms are in place, your bids are submitted to Copart in real time through the Copart API and we keep you informed.

How we handle money and trust

We keep the financial side deliberately simple and human-checked. There are no third-party card processors involved, and no payment is ever treated as received until a person on our team has independently confirmed it.

  • Deposits are security, held against your account — they are not a final payment for a vehicle.
  • Payments are accepted by bank transfer (USD or EUR) or cash in Albanian lek (ALL) at our Tirana office only.
  • Every inbound payment is operator-confirmed against a bank statement or cash receipt before your balance is credited.
  • We do not accept payments from third parties and may decline or refund any transaction that fails our checks.

Vehicles are sold as-is, where-is by third-party auction sources. We do not guarantee condition, title, mileage, damage description, history, auction outcome, or any shipping, customs or delivery timeline. Any figures we provide are good-faith estimates.

Frequently asked questions

Is the inventory on this site real Copart stock I can buy right now?

The specific sample cars shown on the site are clearly labelled demonstration samples and exist only to demonstrate how the platform works. The identifiers, photos, locations, dates and figures are illustrative and may be fictional. These particular samples are not real Copart lots, they are not offers for sale, and they cannot be bid on. When you bid on a live Copart lot, your bid is submitted to the relevant Copart auction in real time through the Copart API.

Are you an official Copart partner, or owned by or affiliated with Copart?

No. Premium Auto Bid is operated independently by Premium Logistics SHPK and is not owned by, operated by, endorsed by or officially affiliated with Copart, Inc. We place customer bids on Copart in real time through the Copart API, but we make no official-partner claims. Copart and the Copart logo are trademarks of Copart, Inc.; we reference Copart only to describe the source of the vehicles we help customers bid on.

Do I need an account to browse the site?

No. You can browse the catalogue and read every information and trust page freely, without creating an account or giving us any personal data. An account and identity verification only become relevant when you want to place a bid.

When do I need to verify my identity?

Before any bid is placed. Browsing is anonymous, but because deposits and payments cross borders in USD, we are required to confirm who you are before bidding on your behalf. We review your identity documents (KYC) before any bid is submitted. No identity check is needed simply to look around.

What is the deposit and how much is it?

The deposit is a refundable security amount, taken before we place bids on your behalf. It is USD 750 as standard. For a vehicle valued over USD 7,500, the deposit is 10% of the vehicle value instead. The deposit confirms you are a serious bidder and gives us a security balance to work against.

Is the deposit refundable?

Yes. The deposit is security held against your account, not a final payment for a vehicle. If you do not win a vehicle, or you decide not to proceed before any bid is committed, the deposit is refundable in line with your Member Terms. It is only ever applied toward a purchase, fees or amounts you owe if and when you actually win and proceed.

How do I pay my deposit or balance?

By bank transfer in USD or EUR, or in cash in Albanian lek (ALL) at our Tirana office. Every payment is operator-confirmed: you send the funds or pay in cash, and a person on our team independently verifies it against a bank statement or cash receipt before crediting your account. We do not use card processors or foreign payment gateways.

Can I pay by credit or debit card, or through an online payment app?

No. We do not work with third-party card processors or online payment apps, which are not reliably available for this kind of cross-border business in Albania. Payment is by bank transfer (USD or EUR) or cash in ALL at our Tirana office only. This keeps every payment traceable and confirmed by a real person.

How does bidding actually work — is it real-time?

Yes. Once you have completed identity verification, accepted the Member Terms and have an approved deposit, your bids are placed on Copart in real time through the Copart API. You set the vehicle and the maximum amount you authorize, and your bid is submitted to the relevant Copart auction in real time. There is no manual operator or human agent placing bids on auction-house accounts on your behalf, and no outcome is guaranteed.

Whose terms govern the auction once I win?

When you place a bid, you do so through Premium Auto Bid, so your contractual relationship is with us. However, every auction sale itself remains subject to the source auction's own terms and conditions, including how lots are sold and what the buyer must do after winning. We pass those obligations on to you.

What fees apply on top of the winning price?

On top of the winning bid you should expect our service fee, the fees charged by the auction source, and the cost of freight and customs where they apply. We itemize these in any cost estimate so you can see what makes up the total. Auction fees and third-party charges are set by others and can change, so the final amount may differ from an early estimate.

Can you give me a guaranteed all-in landed price?

No. Any landed-cost figure is a good-faith estimate that itemizes our service fee plus auction fees, freight and customs where known. The final cost depends on the winning price, fees set by third parties, taxes and currency movements, all of which are outside our control. We will always be transparent about which parts are fixed and which are estimates.

What about transport, customs and delivery timelines?

We can help arrange and estimate transport and customs, but timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Shipping schedules, port handling, inspections, customs clearance and local registration all involve third parties and can be delayed for reasons outside our control. We will give you our best realistic estimate and keep you updated as things progress.

Are the vehicles guaranteed in any way?

No. Vehicles are sold as-is, where-is by third-party auction sources. We do not guarantee condition, title, mileage, damage description, history, availability, auction outcome, or any shipping, customs or delivery timeline. Condition reports, photos, damage codes and history information come from the auction source or third parties; we pass them on for convenience but do not independently verify or adopt them.

Which countries do you serve?

Our service is offered to customers in Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Montenegro, with Albania as our home market. Cash payments are accepted only at our Tirana office, while bank transfers in USD or EUR can be made from any of the markets we serve.

What identity and screening checks do you run?

Because deposits and payments are made in USD across borders, we apply identity verification (KYC), screening against OFAC and EU sanctions lists, and source-of-funds checks above defined thresholds. We do not accept third-party payments and may decline or refund any transaction that does not pass screening. These checks protect both you and us and are completed before any bid is placed.

How is my personal data handled?

We collect only what we need to verify your identity, confirm payments and provide the service, and we handle it under Albanian data-protection law. The details — what we collect, why, how long we keep it and your rights — are set out on our Privacy Policy page. For privacy questions you can write to privacy@premlogistics.com.

How do I make a complaint or raise a concern?

Please contact us directly so we can put it right. For service issues write to support@premlogistics.com, for compliance or conduct concerns compliance@premlogistics.com, and for legal matters legal@premlogistics.com. You can also call +355 69 475 6644 or write to Premium Logistics SHPK at our office in Kamëz, Tirana. We aim to acknowledge and respond to every complaint promptly.

Still have a question?

If anything here is unclear, or your situation needs specific guidance, contact our team before committing any money. We would rather answer one more question than have you bid on something you do not fully understand.
